On April 27, Huayan Robotics and Syntec Technology, together with Syntec’s wholly owned subsidiary LNC Technology, held a strategic signing ceremony and machine tool industry exchange under the theme “Synergizing Flexible Collaboration with Intelligent Control.”
At the event in Shenzhen, Huayan Robotics and Syntec officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement, setting a joint target to drive demand for 10,000 CNC loading and unloading robots over the next three years. The agreement was signed by Huayan Robotics CEO Guangneng Wang and Syntec Chairman Tsai Yu-Keng.
Huayan Robotics is a recognized “Little Giant” enterprise specializing in robotics R&D, manufacturing, and sales. The company offers a full range of collaborative robots with payloads from 3kg to 60kg, widely used in welding, CNC loading and unloading, palletizing, semiconductors, healthcare, and etc. With full-stack in-house capabilities across hardware and software, Huayan also independently supplies core motion components to the market.
Founded in 1995, Syntec Group has spent three decades advancing control system technologies and precision manufacturing, establishing itself as a leading industrial control brand in the Asia-Pacific region. Its subsidiary, LNC Technology, serves as a key platform for smart manufacturing, focusing on intelligent robotics and cloud-based solutions, and delivering end-to-end Industry 4.0 solutions—from single-machine upgrades to full factory integration.
Huayan Robotics and Syntec | LNC have built a strong track record of collaboration in CNC automation, particularly in pick-and-place and loading and unloading applications. As early as 2024, the two companies jointly optimized motion control and handling algorithms, achieving a 35% increase in overall system speed, along with the launch of multiple flexible CNC automation cells.
At this event, the partnership reached a new milestone with the launch of an integrated CNC + cobot control solution—the Collaborative 3+1 CNC loading and unloading.
This solution combines a newly customized collaborative robot from Huayan with Syntec’s CNC platform through deep system integration. Using a dual-channel control architecture, a single controller can simultaneously manage both the robot and the CNC machine. This seamless integration allows Huayan robots to be delivered as a standard, ready-to-use machine tool configuration, marking a significant step toward more streamlined and highly integrated machining automation.
Key advantages include:
• High integration and standardization: Eliminates complex on-site wiring and commissioning, reduces operational barriers, and shortens delivery cycles. Standardized modules and interfaces also lower maintenance costs.
• Flexible and adaptable design: Featuring a 3-axis collaborative robot combined with a track axis (3+1 configuration), the system is compact and lightweight while retaining core collaborative performance—ideal for high-mix, low-volume production and fast changeovers.
• High performance and reliability: Two dedicated robot models—LU833-8 (8kg payload, 833mm arm reach) and LU1173-12 (12kg payload, 1173mm arm reach)—offer repeatability of ±0.02mm and IP66 protection, ensuring stable operation in harsh environments.
From 2026 to 2028, China’s CNC machine tool industry is expected to enter a critical phase shaped by policy support, rapid technological breakthroughs, and market restructuring. The convergence of “CNC + robotics + AI” is becoming increasingly tangible, unlocking substantial market demand.
Against this backdrop, both companies’ leadership attended the signing ceremony to formalize a shared direction. Syntec | LNC and Huayan Robotics will work together toward the deployment of 10,000 collaborative robots dedicated to CNC loading and unloading applications within three years, ensuring core supply for Syntec’s smart robotics product line and supporting large-scale adoption of intelligent manufacturing solutions.
The partnership will also extend across joint R&D, solution deployment, market expansion, and brand initiatives, accelerating the adoption of integrated CNC-cobot solutions across a wider range of industries.
