Huayan Robotics (1021.HK) recently showcased at HANNOVER MESSE 2026 as a Hong Kong-listed company, marking its first appearance at the world’s leading industrial trade fair since listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. At the event, the company introduced its newly launched 7-axis humanoid robotic arm to the European market for the first time, alongside a range of AI-powered automation solutions including vision-guided robotics, welding, palletizing and material handling, and screwdriving systems—bringing advanced intelligent robotics from China to the global manufacturing stage.
7-Axis Humanoid Robotic Arm Debuts, Powering Embodied Intelligence
Huayan’s newly launched 7-axis humanoid robotic arm made its European debut at HANNOVER MESSE 2026, drawing attention from major media outlets. Designed as a core actuator for embodied intelligence, the arm features human-like tactile sensing and force interaction capabilities. With full-joint force control precision of ≤0.02 N·m and end-contact force precision of 0.1 N, it can detect subtle external forces and respond with compliant, human-like motion.
Its seven degrees of freedom, combined with a cross-axis wrist joint, enable highly dexterous movements such as obstacle avoidance, curved-arm motion, and flexible path adjustment—allowing stable operation even in confined spaces. Built for humanoid robots, quadruped robots, and other embodied intelligent platforms, the arm is designed to deliver human-like dexterity for advanced manipulation tasks.
Huayan Robotics also introduced its upgraded all-in-one AI vision collaborative robot, featuring a streamlined and reliable design with integrated internal Gigabit Ethernet cabling. The system integrates key vision components—including lenses, lighting, and cameras—into a compact architecture, and is paired with a one-stop AI training server built for edge computing applications.
The platform supports on-premise private deployment to ensure data privacy and security, while also allowing flexible cloud-based data annotation when needed. Powered by Huayan’s proprietary 2.5D high-precision vision algorithm, the robot can automatically detect positional deviation and adjust orientation in real time, ensuring optimal alignment between the camera and the workpiece. The system delivers visual positioning accuracy of up to ±0.15 mm, offering a cost-effective path to intelligent manufacturing upgrades.
Intelligent Palletizing Robot - Electronic Skin + AI Vision Positioning
Built on Huayan’s S50 high-payload robot platform, the company’s intelligent palletizing workstation also made its European debut. Designed for heavy-duty handling tasks, the system offers a 50 kg payload, a 2,000 mm working radius, and operating speeds of 8–13 cycles per minute.
For enhanced safety in industrial environments, the system can be equipped with optional safety sensors such as electronic skin, enabling the robot to detect intrusion into its workspace and respond proactively through speed reduction or emergency stop functions. Combined with 3D vision and AI algorithms, the palletizing robot can autonomously identify incoming materials and plan palletizing or depalletizing strategies, bringing greater intelligence to logistics, food and beverage, and consumer goods handling applications.
Versatile Welding Robot - Automatic Seam Tracking & Real-Time Path Correction
With “full-scenario coverage” as a core design concept, Huayan Robotics showcased a range of collaborative welding robots tailored to different industrial needs.
For large structural components, the company presented a long-reach collaborative welding robot with a working radius of 1.8 meters, enabling access to distant welding points without the need for lift columns or floor tracks. For applications requiring frequent repositioning, Huayan demonstrated a lightweight welding robot equipped with a magnetic base for easy movement across multiple workstations.
For more complex welding environments, the system supports rapid autonomous positioning, automatic seam tracking, and real-time path correction. It also features hand-guided teaching and integrated welding process packages, helping manufacturers simplify deployment and improve welding efficiency.
Huayan’s screwdriving robot was also on display, designed for high-torque, high-precision fastening applications. Its dual-joint module structure is engineered to withstand the large instantaneous torque generated during tightening, supporting fastening torque of up to 300 N·m.
The system can perform screw picking, placement, and tightening with high precision and stability, while also enabling real-time data collection, inspection, traceability, and process monitoring. It is well suited for industries such as automotive and 3C electronics. Huayan Robotics also showcased its high-speed collaborative robot at the booth, highlighting the company’s capabilities in high-speed automation.
Huayan Robotics’ showcase at HANNOVER MESSE also highlighted its vertically integrated development capabilities across both hardware and software. The company has built a full-stack in-house robotics platform, supported by more than 20 years of expertise in core technologies including high-performance motors, joint modules, and servo drives. A dedicated core components display area was also featured at the exhibition.
